Plonka Interactive
Employed at Plonka Interactive in Plano, Texas from 2004-05. Most of the following sites in this portfolio have been built while employed at Susan’s web shop, marketing and ad agency. Although I did not design her site, I was employed here to maintain and update it, along with designing new sites and maintaining the sites of existing clients. Plonka Interactive specializes in creating sites which allow the client to update and modify their content using an ASP back end and MSSQL database.
YaYa’s Boutique
YaYa’s is a little fashion boutique in Plano, TX. The owner needed to display her unique selection of in dependant designers apparel. Incorporating beautiful original artwork from Stephanie Thompson, I designed this site to be attractive to female clientele. We also developed a back end for the owner to update her products and send emails to her mailing list.
DatastarUSA
Primarily concerned with Search Engine Optimization, DatastarUSA requested a site which was search engine friendly and easily allowed customers to find them. This site is CSS heavy. I tried to keep title and headers as generic as possible to comply with latest search engine requirements.
Primacare is a private health facility with 11 locations in the surrounding North Dallas area. Kerri Protas contacted Susan to refresh the face of their prior site. She also wanted to be able to update content on any page using an admin interface. Plonka Interactive stepped up to the task and when Kerri was presented with Primacare’s new site, she just started laughing. Normally I would have been a bit wary of this type of resonse, but she assured us it was because she was so pleased. Primacare was given an attractive looking front end, along with an intelligent user friendly backend.
My Resume
While employed at Plonka Interactive, I was the sole designer in charge of creating sites from scratch using HTML, Photoshop, Javascript, PHP and ASP. I have been building sites for the last 8 years, and my portfolio is extensive. When I have time I will add more portfolio pieces to this page.
